Can Online Education help people that can't afford school?

One of issues that never stop to be talked about is education. Why? People never stop learning, or have to keep learning for the rest of our live. That's why education has never been the least important thing in the world. Populations in Indonesia keep on growing, but number of free public schools doesn't increase as much as the people. There some volunteers that teach kids that can't afford school and need to work to provide their family.

It's not enough. Government has to think of an idea to decrease 230,000 uneducated children in Indonesia that have potential to move the country forward. They have plans to make more public school that completely free (not all of schools are free in Indonesia). It takes time. They need big space and especially Jakarta doesn't have enough land to actualize. This is why I think Social Media can be a big part of online education to educate the students by providing programs and computers.


Social media for Online Education?

 I think it's a brilliant idea. One thing that makes social media addicting is chat platform that you can socialize with all of the people around the globe. Government doesn't have to hire lots of teacher. They can just put an online teacher in each of classes and they can provide kids that have question by chatting online. They have to organize the schedule of the classes as it is at school. They can save land by doing this. They can distribute the program to internet cafe around the country. Besides that, they can share free books through the website to keep students on track. Benefit of social media for online classes is it creates space for students to discuss with each other, too. Online classes have to be multiple-way communication, so it creates active education and simulates the real classroom. Therefore, education ministry has to create a movement like online classes that provide the country with more education to make Indonesia better.
